1/2 - 1/6: Happy New Year!

Happy New Year folks! We’ll be kicking off our traditional Healthy Habits competition this week, so keep an eye out for challenge sheets in the gym.

Chose 3 habits to start or maintain for the month of January. Every day you keep the habit place a sticker on your sheet. At the end of the month we’ll do a lottery draw of our participants and you could win yourself some swag!

Here’s to kicking off the year on a great note :)

12/18 - 12/23: Happy Holidays

To our wonderful community thank you for being part of FCCF. It was delightful to see so many people attend our end of year / town hall last week at Barebottle. At this time of year the board likes to reflect and we truly are grateful to each and every one of you!!

Don’t forget we’ll be running our annual 12 days of Christmas WOD so sign up with MindBody as this a FUN one.

Enjoy the time you have and spending it with family and friends and make sure you also take time for yourself to relax and recharge. We are looking forward to 2024 and will be kicking off the year with our traditional Healthy Habits competition.

12/4 - 12/09: It's a wonderful time of year

Our holiday party is coming up in Saturday 9th December from 5 - 8pm at Barebottle Brewery (on Cortland Ave). Please come and join us and celebrate a great year!! Bring the family and bring something sweet to share. We can’t wait to see you all!

11/20 - 11/25: HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Hi folks and Happy Thanksgiving week! With the holiday we’ll be reducing classes and the gym schedule will look a little differently.

Thanksgiving Day - classes will be limited to the morning. We’ll be doing our traditional Lumberjack 20 WOD, so be sure to come and work out together and then off for family and friends time.

Black Friday will also be a reduced schedule so check MindBody but we’ll be back with a normal schedule on Saturday.

11/6 - 11/11: It's officially dark...

Well that’s a wrap on summer folks with daylight savings coming into effect on the weekend. It’s always a weird time of year with these nice days and yet it is now getting dark by 530pm.

We know sometimes with the holiday season approaching there’s a lot of pressure. Fitness helps with not only your physical self but also mental. So be sure to keep up your enthusiasm and consistency is the key to achieving your goals no matter when it gets light or dark or what holiday is around the corner!!

Don’t forget we’ll be doing the Chad workout in partner form on Saturday in honour of Vetrans Day so sign up, and get ready for 500 box step ups…

10/23 - 10/28: Olympic Lift Cycle

It’s exciting to kick off our second week where we have one day focused on Olympic Lifting. We often find these lifts in our WODs but spending time specifically on the lifts and really honing in on technique is going to have major benefits for us all. So dust off your lifting shoes if you have them and looking forward to seeing everyone progress as the cycle continues.
